Pradeep Singh Kharola becomes Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Trade Promotion Organization

Former Civil Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). This was said in an order of the Ministry of Personnel. Kharola, a 1985 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Karnataka cadre, had retired as the Civil Aviation Secretary in September 2021. He took over as the Chairman of the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) in March this year.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Kharola as the Chairman and Managing Director of ITPO. He has been appointed for a period of two years from the date of joining on contract basis in the Secretary level and pay scale to the Government of India. He took over as the chairman of the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) in March this year.
