Syllabus for UGC NET 2020 has been made available by the authorities on the website. It is necessary to know for the candidates for appearing in the exam. UGC NET is conducted to test the eligibility for lectureship and for the award of junior research fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. The exam will be conducted for 84 subjects at 91 selected cities and syllabus is different for each subject. The UGC NET exam syllabus will be released by the NTA (National Testing Agency).   • The UGC NET exam paper will comprise of two sessions Paper 1 & Paper 2.
  • The paper 1 of UGC NET will be general paper on teaching & research aptitude. It will comprise of 50 objective type questions.
  • The paper 2 of UGC NET will be of specialization or subject selected by the candidate. It will comprise of 100 objective type questions.
  • There are total 84 specialization subjects for UGC NET paper 2.
